Blue Friend, 2nd Season is a new serialization with different characters than the first series (Blue Friend). The first chapter was published in the July edition of Ribon. Yurikai.com obtains the next copy of this magazine around the 2nd of each month. Chapter 3 is due to become available August 2nd. It is not yet known how long this series will be.

As it turns out, DoujinPress (my little project that is turning into a big monster, a very big monster [Let's let the Japanese take care of it]) recently accepted two yuri doujin shorts. Rather than blather on about the wonderful Doujin Short program, or take text from my announcement today, I’m just going to leave the covers and descriptions of the new books here.
I realize people are dying to hear about Blue Friend: 2nd Season. This week has been busy, but Chapter 2 is almost done. I’m going to really power it out tomorrow as much as possible. I also got word today that Chapter 3 is on lay-away for me.

I’m so excited about this doujin for my other project I had to share it here. The yuri levels were too much for me! And the book is so pretty~ Since the series was licensed I am really looking forward to the English community learning of the greatness that is God Madoka and her stalwart, fate bound love.

It’s Shimizu Kanako’s first day at an all girls high school, and she’s a little overwhelmed. Hoping to make new friends, she bumps into the odd and distant Kamei Ao, as well as her first three new friends: Aki, Rikako and Haruna. Of course, not all can be so sweet in the world of girls.

This chapter includes a 2 page full color spread. The un-typeset version is included with this chapter. On page 19 we’ve left intact the original advertisement for the second volume of the original Blue Friend. It features Ayumu. Lastly, the last third of the pages were printed blurry in the magazine, and while we’ve done our best to correct it, they still look a little off.

Hello everyone, just a quick note tonight. We are nearing the homestretch on the first chapter of Blue Friend: 2nd Season. Since this series follows a different plot and characters than the original series, we’ll be releasing the chapters before ~after days~ is finished. We are aiming to be able to release Chapter 3 and onwards of the new series as it comes out in Japan.
